Birthday BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't even believe that Luke has turned 2! I'm still so surprised by how fast the time has gone. I know everyone says it... "Once you have kids, time flies! Take advantage of all your time with them."  But you don't truly appreciate those words until you begin to live it.   These two years have gone by so fast and every minute, hour, moment that I get to spend with Luke is one of my most favorite minutes, hours, moments that I could ever wish for!   I  feel like my life really truly brightened the day we had him.

We won't actually be celebrating Luke's birthday until Saturday, March 26th (we are doing a combined birthday party with Amelia). I had decided, originally, not to do anything on his actual birthday day.  But once the day came, I changed my mind.  I suddenly realized there was NO way we wouldn't do anything to celebrate one of the best days of my life!  We kept it super low key though.  We just had my parents, Charity, Jeff, Jack and Amelia over at our house for dinner. For dessert Luke got to have a chocolate chip cookie!   Auntie Charity was very sweet because she brought over a birthday hat that we will be using for his birthday party and we put it on him (he's not totally loving the hat yet :( )

She also got a cute hat for Amelia, whose birthday is about 3 weeks after Luke:
