Today Luke and I took my Mom to her chiropractor’s appointment. While she was at her appointment I took Luke to Target to burn some time. Target was pretty busy today and we had to weave in and out of people as we were going up and down the aisles checking things out. One of the aisles we stopped at was the tricycle helmet aisle. We got Luke a tricycle for his birthday and needed a helmet to go with it. As we were trying on some helmets, a very loud "passing gas" sound was made in the aisle next to us. Luke smiled and said, "Toot." Then I smiled because I thought it was funny he said that... Seeing my reaction he then said it even louder, "TOOT." Then someone in the passing gas aisle snickered... Which made me smile more, but at this point I was starting to get embarrassed because Luke was really starting to really get into it and obviously caught someone in the act :) Then Luke started saying, "Mommy Do It!".... "Mommy toot".... "MOMMY TOOT" and was still getting louder and louder. At this point I was completely embarrassed. The way Luke was saying it sounded like he was calling out that I was the one who made the initial sound, so those people near that aisle, likely think I was the “one” (and I WASN’T for all of you wonderers out there!) I guess this is the first of many embarrassing moments I have to look forward to :)
Bring em' on!!!
