Luke's 2nd Birthday Party

Even though Luke's birthday was a little over a week ago, we finally celebrated his birthday today. We actually did a combined birthday party with Amelia (my niece). Amelia turns 2 on April 21st, so we thought we'd combine this birthday, since they are young enough not to know the difference.

We held the party at the Little Gym in Issaquah. The Little Gym has a bunch of gymnasticky types of toys that the kids could run and tumble all over.  Today ended up being a really rainy, yucky day outside too... So it was a good thing we picked a place where we could celebrate Luke's birthday inside.

There were about 20 kids there and double that for the adults...  A pretty full house! The people who attended on Luke's behalf included:

The theme for Luke's side of the party was dinosaurs... Although really the only place the dinosaur theme showed up was on the invitations:

(These cupcakes were amazing!!! A past co-worker of mine made the cookies (can you believe how good they look?!?!) and then I added frosting to the cupcake and then smooshed the cookie on top! I love how they turned out! )
